Policies and Promises

Climate Change Policy

At Swingmor, we believe businesses must be part of the solution to climate change—not part of the problem. Our Climate Change Policy is a cornerstone of how we create low carbon golf apparel that respects the planet at every stage, from forest to fairway.

We measure and report our carbon footprint across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions annually, aligned with the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol standards. This full-chain transparency is included in our yearly Impact Report and integrated into how we design, produce, and deliver every garment.

Our Climate Actions Include:

  • Low-Impact Product Design: We use TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres, made from sustainably managed European forests. These fibres require 10x less water and 6x less land than conventional cotton, with no pesticides, no herbicides, and no fertilizers—just naturally replenished wood.

  • TENCEL™  Production Practices: Processing uses renewable energy, low water input, and closed-loop systems with non-toxic chemicals and 99% recovery, minimising emissions at every step.

  • Longevity by Design: Our garments are made to last—featuring anti-pilling fabrics, colourfastness, odour resistance, reinforced seams, and smart structure (collars, pockets, hems) to withstand real-world wear and tear, garments you will wear more, keep longer, and love forever.

  • Short Supply Chains: Our production network is all based in Europe which is ~10x shorter than the fashion industry average, slashing transport emissions.

  • Low Impact Deliveries: We use electric last-mile delivery, space-efficient packaging, and large letterbox-size parcels to reduce return trips and carbon waste.

  • Buyback & Circularity: Our Guaranteed Buyback Program keeps garments in use longer and out of landfill—further lowering lifecycle emissions.

  • Responsible Marketing: We promote thoughtful purchasing through calm, content-rich communication—avoiding fear-based tactics, discounts, or impulse-driven messaging—ensuring every purchase of our eco-friendly golf clothing is considered, not coerced.

  • Informed Consumer Choices: Every product includes full lifecycle analysis on carbon emissions and sustainability factors, empowering responsible buying decisions.

  • Residual Offsets: When we've done all we can to reduce emissions, we offset unavoidable Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by purchasing high-quality carbon credits from nature-based carbon removal projects, verified by trusted standards like Verra, Gold Standard, and American Carbon Registry. Offsets are not counted as charitable giving—they are a core business responsibility.

Commitments

We promise we will always strive for minimal impact, fully offset—working hard to squeeze every unnecessary emission out of our processes before using the highest quality carbon removal projects for the rest.

We promise we will avoid the bad and focus on doing more good—making the world better one swing at a time, through every item of sustainable golf clothing we create.
